Slow Cooker Shrimp Jambalaya Recipe


  • 2 chicken breasts, skinless boneless cut into chunks
  • 1 pound andouille sausage links, sliced (or try smoked sausage)
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes, 14.5 oz
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced (You can also use green pepper.)
  • 3 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 12 oz bag frozen shrimp (fully cooked, peeled and deveined)

How to make Easy shrimp jambalaya recipe:

  1. Combine everything except the shrimp into the crock pot.
  2. Cover and Cook on low for 8 hours or 4 hours on high.
  3. In the last 15 minutes to 30 minutes add the shrimp and cook shrimp.
  4. Stir and then serve
  5. Notes – you can serve over rice. Just add the rice to individual bowls.
